A Palm Beach County resident is seeking justice after a coffee spill at a drive-through left her with severe burns. Cassandre Warren filed a complaint on November 26, 2025, in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida, against Dunkin’ Donuts LLC and several associated entities.

According to the complaint, on June 9, 2024, Cassandre Warren visited a Dunkin’ Donuts location at 1400 S. Main Street in Belle Glade, Florida. As she sat in her car at the drive-through window, an employee handed her a cup of hot coffee with a plastic lid that was not properly secured. The faulty lid caused the coffee to spill onto Warren, resulting in severe burns. The lawsuit accuses Dunkin’ Donuts LLC and its associates—PMA Belle Glade LLC, Belleglade BP & Foodmart Inc., and BLX Capital LLC—of negligence for failing to ensure the safety of their products and premises.

Warren’s legal filing outlines multiple counts of negligence against each defendant. She alleges that they failed to adequately secure the coffee lid or place it properly into a cup holder tray. Furthermore, she claims they did not warn her about the potential dangers posed by improperly secured lids or defective cups. These failures allegedly created hazardous conditions that led directly to her injuries.

The complaint further details how these alleged negligent actions resulted in significant harm to Warren. She suffered permanent bodily injury, pain and suffering both physically and mentally, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment of life, and incurred medical expenses for hospitalization and treatment. Additionally, Warren has experienced loss of earnings and diminished capacity to earn money due to her injuries.

Warren seeks judgment against each defendant for damages exceeding $50,000 plus interest and costs. She demands a jury trial for all issues presented in this case.

Representing Cassandre Warren is attorney Marius Boeru from Morgan & Morgan P.A., based in West Palm Beach. The case has been filed under Case Number: 502025CA012389XXXAMB Div: AF.
