A Georgia man appeared in federal court on Mar. 9 after being accused of leaving a threatening voicemail for a person in the Southern District of Florida.
Court documents state that Henry Paul Demarco, 64, allegedly left a message on Sept. 19, 2025, threatening to “blow [the victim’s] head off.” The call was made from Georgia and received in South Florida.
Demarco was granted bond with the condition that he have no contact with the victim. He is charged with interstate transmission of a threat to injure and could face up to five years in federal prison if convicted.
The announcement was made by U.S. Attorney Jason A. Reding Quiñones for the Southern District of Florida, Special Agent in Charge Brett D. Skiles of the FBI Miami Field Office, and Police Chief Michael Coleman of the Riviera Beach Police Department. The FBI Miami office is investigating the case with assistance from the Riviera Beach Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Juan Albino is prosecuting.
Officials remind that an indictment or complaint is only an allegation and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in court.
