A Florida resident is taking legal action against three hotel entities following a severe injury sustained during a stay. Patrick Beahon filed the complaint in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida, on October 31, 2025, targeting Avalon Hotel LLC, Hollander Hotel LLC, and Hideaway Hills MHP LLC as defendants.

The case revolves around an incident that occurred on November 2, 2023, when Beahon was staying at a hotel managed by the defendants. According to the complaint, Beahon slipped and fell while using the shower in his assigned room due to hazardous conditions. The plaintiff alleges that these conditions included inadequate slip-resistant surfacing and safety features such as grab bars. As stated in the filing, “Plaintiff slipped and fell due to an unreasonably unsafe and hazardous condition existing in the shower area.” The lawsuit accuses each defendant of failing to maintain safe premises for business invitees like Beahon. Specifically, Avalon Hotel LLC is accused of neglecting its duty to provide safe facilities and adequate warnings about potential dangers. Similarly, Hollander Hotel LLC is implicated as a related entity sharing operational control with Avalon Hotel LLC. Hideaway Hills MHP LLC also faces allegations of negligence for similar reasons.

Beahon’s legal team argues that all three defendants breached their duties by not maintaining safe environments or warning guests about possible risks. The plaintiff seeks damages exceeding $50,000 for bodily injuries resulting from this alleged negligence. The complaint outlines various types of relief sought by Beahon: compensation for pain and suffering; medical expenses; loss of earnings; loss of earning capacity; mental anguish; inconvenience; disability; physical impairment; disfigurement; loss of enjoyment of life; aggravation of pre-existing conditions—all claimed as either permanent or continuing in nature.

Representing Patrick Beahon is attorney Marie Sartiano Schoeb from Busciglio Sheridan Schoeb P.A., based in Tampa, Florida. The Case Number is 25-006172-CI.
