Michael Peacock, a 39-year-old resident of North Fort Myers, was sentenced on Apr. 3 to six years and six months in federal prison for distributing methamphetamine. U.S. District Judge Kyle Dudek handed down the sentence after Peacock pleaded guilty on October 28, 2025. The announcement was made by United States Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe.
The case centers around drug activity in the Palmona Park neighborhood of North Fort Myers, where court documents show that Peacock was involved with a group distributing illegal drugs. In July 2024, authorities say Peacock sold approximately two ounces of methamphetamine to a confidential informant for $500.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation led the investigation into the case, according to officials. Assistant United States Attorney Benjamin S. Winter prosecuted the matter.
Peacock’s sentencing is part of ongoing efforts by law enforcement agencies to address drug trafficking activities in local communities.
Kehoe said he remains committed to prosecuting those who distribute illegal substances.
