Sandra Brady has filed a lawsuit alleging medical negligence that resulted in severe personal injury. The complaint was lodged on November 10, 2025, in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida, against Dr. Imtiaz Hossain and Bay Center for Pain Management, P.A. Brady’s case claims that a series of negligent medical actions led to her enduring significant health complications.

According to the complaint, Sandra Brady visited Bay Center for Pain Management on October 16, 2023, seeking treatment from Dr. Imtiaz Hossain. During this visit, Dr. Hossain administered an epidural steroid injection which was followed by intense pain in Brady’s scapular area. In response to her complaints, Dr. Hossain provided additional treatments including a trigger point injection and 60 milligrams of Toradol. This treatment allegedly exacerbated her condition leading to a loss of mobility and necessitating emergency medical intervention at Morton Plant Hospital where an MRI revealed a large epidural hematoma requiring surgical intervention.

Brady’s legal team argues that Dr. Hossain failed to adhere to the prevailing professional standard of care by administering Toradol when it was contraindicated due to its associated risk of causing hematomas, especially exceeding the recommended dosage for patients over 65 years old like Brady herself. The lawsuit claims these actions directly resulted in spinal compression from the hematoma causing quadriparesis and other disabilities that have severely impacted Brady’s quality of life.

The plaintiff is seeking compensatory damages exceeding $50,000 exclusive of interest and legal fees for ongoing pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, loss of enjoyment of life as well as covering past and future medical expenses incurred due to hospitalizations and nursing care. Additionally, Sandra Brady seeks any further relief deemed appropriate by the court.

Representing Sandra Brady are attorneys Lee D. Gunn IV and Ryan A. Lopez from Gunn Law Group based in Tampa, Florida. The Case Number is: 25-006346-CI.
