In a gripping legal battle, a Pinellas County resident has taken action against a local business following an unfortunate incident that left her injured. Christie Brannon filed a complaint on February 20, 2026, in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in and for Pinellas County, Florida, against Ultimate Trampoline 2, LLC, doing business as Catapult Adventure Park, and its store manager referred to as Jane Doe.

The lawsuit stems from an incident on July 13, 2025, when Brannon visited Catapult Adventure Park to host her daughter’s birthday party. According to the complaint, Brannon slipped and fell on a wet floor inside the premises, sustaining significant injuries. The complaint alleges that there was water on the floor due to an employee mopping nearby. Two friends of Brannon reportedly witnessed the event. The plaintiff claims that both the company and its store manager failed in their duty to maintain a safe environment for guests.

Brannon accuses Ultimate Trampoline 2, LLC of negligence for not maintaining safe flooring conditions and failing to warn her about potential hazards. The complaint outlines several specific failures by the defendants including inadequate maintenance of flooring surfaces and insufficient staff training regarding safety protocols. “Defendant owed Plaintiff duties to maintain the premises in a reasonably safe condition,” states the document.

The lawsuit also targets Jane Doe personally for her alleged failure to ensure safety measures were followed under her management at Catapult Adventure Park. The allegations against Doe include not adequately training employees or enforcing policies related to slip prevention.

Brannon is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 for bodily injury which includes permanent injury implications such as pain and suffering along with medical expenses incurred due to hospitalization after the fall. She demands judgment plus interest costs while requesting trial by jury.

Representing Christie Brannon is attorney Kaitlin H. Maller from Morgan & Morgan law firm based out of St Petersburg; however specific details about any defense counsel remain undisclosed at this time as well as presiding judge information aside from case number 26-001138-CI being assigned upon filing.
