In a compelling legal drama unfolding in Pinellas County, Florida, a local resident has taken a bold step against a well-known laundry service. On February 18, 2026, Gary Milarck filed a lawsuit in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit against Busy Bee Coin Laundry Services LLC, doing business as Lee’s Coin Laundry. The case revolves around an incident that occurred on October 21, 2024, when Milarck allegedly suffered severe injuries due to negligence on the part of the laundry service.

According to the complaint filed by Milarck’s attorney, Jeremy S. Clark of Clark Hartpence Law, the plaintiff was visiting Lee’s Coin Laundry located at 9300 Seminole Blvd., Seminole, FL as a patron and business invitee when he slipped and fell on a liquid substance present on the floor. The lawsuit claims that this substance constituted a dangerous condition that posed an unreasonable risk of harm to patrons like Milarck. The plaintiff asserts that Busy Bee had an obligation to maintain its premises in a safe condition and failed to do so. “Defendant knew or should have known of the dangerous condition,” states the complaint, highlighting their alleged negligence in not addressing or warning about the hazard.

Milarck accuses Busy Bee of several breaches of duty including failing to inspect and clean up hazardous conditions promptly and neglecting to warn customers about potential dangers. As a result of these alleged failures, Milarck sustained serious injuries requiring medical treatment and resulting in significant pain and suffering. The complaint details various damages suffered by Milarck such as bodily injury, mental anguish, loss of enjoyment of life, and ongoing medical expenses.

The plaintiff is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 from Busy Bee Coin Laundry Services LLC for general damages along with costs and interests. The lawsuit demands accountability from Busy Bee for what it describes as careless and negligent acts leading to Milarck’s injuries. In addition to financial compensation for past and future medical expenses and other losses incurred due to his injuries, Milarck is also requesting a jury trial to resolve all issues presented in this case.

Representing Gary Milarck is attorney Jeremy S. Clark from Clark Hartpence Law based in St. Petersburg, Florida. The case has been assigned Case Number: 26-001079-CI.
