A Florida resident has filed a lawsuit against a business service company, accusing it of negligence that led to personal injury. On February 17, 2026, Sandor Melendez lodged a complaint in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida, against WOW Business Services, LLC.

The case centers around an incident that occurred on November 7, 2024. Melendez claims he was injured while on the premises of WOW Business Services at 5602 66th Way North in St. Petersburg, Florida. As per the complaint, Melendez was on the property as a business invitee when he tripped over a cable allegedly negligently placed by WOW Business Services or its employees. The plaintiff asserts that this dangerous condition was either created or permitted by the defendant and that they failed to maintain or warn about this hazard adequately.

Melendez’s legal team argues that WOW Business Services had a duty to ensure safety on their premises and should have been aware of any potential dangers. The complaint lists several specific failures on the part of the defendant: creating or allowing an unsafe condition by running a cable along a known pathway, failing to maintain or inspect for hazardous conditions, and not warning visitors about such dangers. As a result of these alleged oversights, Melendez sustained injuries affecting his body and extremities and has suffered ongoing pain and mental anguish.

The lawsuit seeks damages exceeding $50,000 for medical expenses incurred due to these injuries and compensation for loss of earnings and diminished capacity for enjoyment of life. Additionally, Melendez claims his injuries are permanent or will continue indefinitely and may have aggravated pre-existing conditions.

Represented by Leeder Law with attorneys Thomas H. Leeder and Khalia A. Rhoden leading the charge, Melendez demands judgment against WOW Business Services and requests a jury trial to resolve all issues related to this case. The case is identified under Case Number: 26-001036-CI.
