In a gripping legal battle that highlights the responsibilities of property management, Crystal Rhude has filed a lawsuit against several prominent entities in Palm Beach County, Florida. The complaint was lodged on November 6, 2025, by Rhude in the Circuit Court of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit, targeting BSREP III PBG Golf LLC, BSREP III PGA Resort LLC doing business as PGA National Resort and Spa, and Crescent Hotels and Resorts LLC. The plaintiff accuses these companies of negligence leading to a slip-and-fall incident that caused her significant injuries.
The case centers around an incident that occurred on September 2, 2024, when Crystal Rhude visited the premises of the PGA National Resort and Spa located at 400 Avenue of the Champions in Palm Beach Gardens. According to the complaint, Rhude slipped and fell due to dirty, slippery conditions in the parking lot that were allegedly covered with algae-like substances and other oily materials. The lawsuit claims that these hazardous conditions were known or should have been known by the defendants but were negligently left unaddressed.
Rhude’s legal team argues that each defendant had a duty to maintain their premises safely for guests and invitees like her. They assert that BSREP III PBG Golf LLC (referred to as “GOLF”), BSREP III PGA Resort LLC (“PGA”), and Crescent Hotels and Resorts LLC (“CRESCENT”) failed in their responsibility to ensure safe walkways and parking areas. “At all times material,” states the complaint, “the Defendants had exclusive dominion, possession, and control over their employees who were responsible for maintaining safety.”
The plaintiff is seeking monetary compensation exceeding $50,000 from each defendant for damages including bodily injury, pain and suffering, disability, mental anguish, loss of enjoyment of life, medical expenses both past and future, loss of earnings capacity, and aggravation of pre-existing conditions. Furthermore, Rhude demands a jury trial to resolve these allegations.
Representing Crystal Rhude is attorney Michael C. George from the Law Office of Michael C. George based in West Palm Beach. The case is filed under Case Number: 502025CA011595XXXAMB Div: AO with Judge Michael A. Caruso presiding over proceedings.
