A Florida woman has filed a lawsuit against two companies, alleging negligence after she suffered injuries from tripping on uneven pavement. Diane Pica filed the complaint in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida, on October 15, 2025, naming North Bridge Management, Inc., and SAB Boynton Holdings LLC as defendants.

The lawsuit stems from an incident that occurred on February 11, 2025. According to the complaint, Diane Pica was walking on a sidewalk at the Shoppes of Boynton located at Congress Ave & Gateway Blvd in Boynton Beach when she tripped over uneven pavement. The plaintiff claims that both North Bridge Management and SAB Boynton Holdings were responsible for maintaining the premises and failed to ensure that it was safe for visitors. The complaint alleges that both defendants “knew or should have known” about the hazardous condition of the sidewalk but did not take steps to remedy it or warn patrons like Pica.

Diane Pica’s legal team argues that both companies had a duty of care to maintain their premises in a reasonably safe condition and inspect for any dangerous conditions. They further assert that North Bridge Management and SAB Boynton Holdings failed in this duty by allowing the sidewalk to remain unsafe and not providing adequate warnings about its condition. As a result of this alleged negligence, Pica claims she has suffered various injuries including disability, disfigurement, pain and suffering, mental anguish, loss of income and earning capacity, as well as medical expenses.

In her lawsuit, Diane Pica is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 from each defendant. She is also requesting additional relief deemed reasonable by the court. The complaint highlights ongoing losses that are either permanent or continuing due to her injuries from the fall.

Representing Diane Pica is attorney Ian Bressler from Ian Bressler Law P.A., based in Lake Worth, Florida. The case has been assigned Case Number 502025CA010667XXXAMB Div: AJ and will be heard before a jury trial as demanded by the plaintiff.
