In a dramatic legal showdown, two residents of Port Richey, Florida, have taken their grievances to court, accusing a local business and its employee of negligence resulting in severe injuries. On November 20, 2025, Arnold Armando Rodriguez Martinez and Enmanuel Cabrera filed a complaint in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County against Thomas Alfred Renzoni and Countrywide Plumbing of Pinellas Inc.

The case stems from an incident on March 3, 2025, in Tarpon Springs, Florida. According to the plaintiffs’ allegations, Thomas Alfred Renzoni was operating a vehicle owned by Countrywide Plumbing when he negligently collided with another vehicle driven by Arnold Armando Rodriguez Martinez. The collision also affected Enmanuel Cabrera, who was a passenger at the time. The plaintiffs claim that this negligence resulted in permanent injuries, significant pain and suffering, loss of wages both past and future, and substantial medical expenses. They argue that these consequences have impaired their ability to enjoy life and earn income.

Rodriguez Martinez’s complaint further alleges that Countrywide Plumbing is vicariously liable for Renzoni’s actions under the Dangerous Instrumentality Doctrine. This doctrine holds vehicle owners responsible for any damages caused by those they permit to drive their vehicles. “Countrywide Plumbing expressly or impliedly consented,” states the complaint regarding Renzoni’s use of the vehicle involved in the accident.

Cabrera echoes similar claims against both defendants. He accuses Renzoni of negligent operation leading to his injuries while asserting that Countrywide Plumbing should be held accountable for allowing Renzoni to drive their vehicle without proper oversight or control.

Both plaintiffs are seeking damages exceeding $50,000 each for their respective claims. They demand compensation for their physical injuries as well as financial losses incurred due to inability to work following the accident. Additionally, they seek prejudgment interest and any other relief deemed appropriate by the court.

Representing Rodriguez Martinez and Cabrera is Alina M. Morros from Fiol & Morros Law Group based in Tampa, Florida. The case has been assigned Case Number 25-006571-CI.
