In a dramatic legal confrontation, a woman has taken legal action against a property management company after sustaining injuries from a fall on their premises. Jean C. Silver filed her complaint in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida, on November 5, 2025, naming GS Mark, LLC; GREP Southeast, LLC; and Greystar Management Services, LLC as defendants.

The lawsuit revolves around an incident that occurred on November 15, 2025, when Silver was traversing the walkway at The Mark at Cityscape in Boca Raton. She claims she was directed to an area with excessive standing water due to poor drainage and subsequently tripped over uneven paver tiles—a condition she alleges had existed long enough for the defendants to be aware of it. Silver asserts that these hazardous conditions were not only known but neglected by the defendants. “GS MARK knew or should have known that the condition present on its premises created an unreasonable risk of harm,” reads one part of the complaint.

Silver accuses GS Mark and GREP Southeast of negligence for failing to maintain safe conditions and adequately warn about potential dangers. The complaint highlights several failures: lack of maintenance of walkways, inadequate training for employees regarding safety procedures, and insufficient warnings about existing hazards. The lawsuit states that “the negligent conditions were created by or known to GS MARK,” implying gross oversight by the property owner.

Jean C. Silver is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 for her injuries which include pain and suffering, medical expenses, loss of earnings, and more—damages she claims are permanent or continuing. Her attorney argues that these companies had a duty to ensure safe passage for invitees like herself but failed to uphold this responsibility.

Represented by Brian E. Pabian from The Law Offices of Brian Pabian in Weston, Florida, Silver is demanding a jury trial to address all issues as a matter of right. This case is set under Case Number 502025CA011520XXXAMB with no specific judge assigned yet.
