In a compelling legal battle unfolding in Palm Beach County, Florida, a resident has filed a lawsuit against a local business following an incident that left her with significant injuries. The complaint was lodged by Solimar Chacon Caceres on September 18, 2025, against Jasmine of Palm Beach, Ltd., a Florida Limited Partnership operating a BP Gas Station where the incident occurred.

The lawsuit centers around an event on December 9, 2024, when Caceres visited the BP Gas Station at 1799 Congress Avenue in West Palm Beach. While performing the routine task of pumping gas, she unexpectedly slipped on an unmarked clear liquid substance near pump #2. This fall resulted in serious injuries for Caceres. According to the complaint, Jasmine of Palm Beach had failed to maintain the premises in a safe condition and neglected to warn customers about potential hazards such as the slippery floor.

Caceres accuses Jasmine of Palm Beach of negligence and claims that they were aware or should have been aware of the dangerous conditions on their property. The lawsuit outlines several failures on the part of Jasmine of Palm Beach including inadequate inspection and maintenance of the premises, lack of proper warning signs for hidden dangers, and insufficient training and supervision of employees responsible for ensuring customer safety. “The Defendant knew or should have known that the floor was not properly clear of any substances,” states the complaint.

The plaintiff is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 for medical expenses incurred due to her injuries, along with compensation for physical pain and suffering, mental anguish, emotional distress, and loss of enjoyment of life. Caceres also demands that Jasmine of Palm Beach be held accountable for all legal costs associated with this case.

Representing Solimar Chacon Caceres is attorney Danial R. Moghani from Uriarte Law P.A., based in Doral, Florida. The case is filed under Case Number 502025CA009569XXXAMB Div: AN in the Circuit Court of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County. As this legal proceeding unfolds, it highlights critical issues regarding business responsibilities towards customer safety and proper premises management.
