A slip-and-fall incident at a Palm Beach Gardens restaurant has led to a lawsuit against two prominent hospitality companies. On November 19, 2025, Reyna M. Nunez filed a complaint in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida, accusing Salamander Hospitality, LLC and HP Palm Beach Investment LP of negligence following an accident that occurred on April 13, 2025.
According to the court documents, Reyna M. Nunez was visiting the Honeybelle Restaurant located at 400 Ave of the Champions when she slipped on a puddle of water and fell on the steps. The lawsuit claims that both Salamander Hospitality, LLC and HP Palm Beach Investment LP owned and maintained the property where the incident took place. Nunez alleges that her fall was due to “the careless and negligent manner” in which the premises were maintained by the defendants. The complaint highlights several alleged failures by both companies: they did not properly maintain or examine their property for hazards such as slippery surfaces; they failed to warn patrons like Nunez about these dangers; and they did not implement reasonable safety measures such as placing warning signs or closing off hazardous areas.
The plaintiff is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 for injuries sustained during the fall. The injuries are described as severe and permanent, resulting in physical pain, suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, loss of enjoyment of life, medical expenses, and loss of earning capacity. Furthermore, Nunez asserts that these conditions will continue to affect her life adversely in the future.
Nunez’s legal representation is provided by Workman Injury Law PLLC based in Fort Lauderdale. The case ID for this matter is 502025CA012098XXXAMB Div: AD.
