A woman is seeking justice after a shopping trip turned into a nightmare, resulting in permanent injuries. Vicki Losasso filed a complaint against OCS Delray LLC on October 9, 2025, in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida. The lawsuit accuses OCS Delray LLC of negligence that led to her severe injury.
The incident occurred on August 11, 2025, when Losasso was visiting a shopping center owned and operated by OCS Delray LLC at 14802 S. Military Trail in Palm Beach County. While walking through the parking lot, she tripped over an exposed piece of rebar and fell. This fall resulted in what she describes as “permanent bodily injury.” According to the complaint, Losasso was lawfully present as a business invitee at the time of the accident.
Losasso’s legal team argues that OCS Delray LLC failed to uphold its duty to maintain a safe environment for customers. The complaint details several alleged failures on the part of OCS: creating or allowing hazardous conditions like the protruding rebar; neglecting proper maintenance and inspection of their premises; failing to correct known dangers; and not warning customers about these hazards. These oversights are claimed to have directly caused Losasso’s injuries.
The lawsuit seeks compensatory damages exceeding $50,000, exclusive of costs and fees. Losasso is asking for compensation for physical pain and suffering, mental anguish, disability, loss of income both past and future, medical expenses, and other related losses. Her attorneys argue that these damages are either permanent or ongoing and will continue to affect her life.
Representing Vicki Losasso is Andres Hermida from Morgan & Morgan P.A., based in Miami. The case has been assigned Case Number 502025CA010484XXXAMB Div: AH with Judge Michael A. Caruso presiding over it.
